Any ideas on the time of day that this is happening & whether it's free to watch.

Might be able to pursuade my 5 year old to come along as there's a McDonalds within spitting distance!!

It's usually £10 to get in. It's a nice venue, I used to do a lot of r/c model flying there.

Anyone not doing anything on the above date can be part of a feckin mental day at north weald airstrip...
Every so often they open one of the runways for a run what ya brung day, and the next ones this sunday!!
They use official timing gear etc etc...
i went to the last one and there must have been at least 300+ cars there....
Its a cheap day out, get your car timed over 1/4 mile..0-60 etc etc
and have a look at some mental machinery!!
Last time there was a fireblade powered go-cart doing 10 sec times:D
I'm definately goin over and just thought i would see if anyone else fancys comin???

whereabouts is andover i may be able to give you a better idea where it is related to you..
