Type r window mechanism

Afternoon folks. I'm looking for the motor and the mechanism for the driver's door on a v5 type r. They seem like rocking horse poop over here, but does anyone know if the American coupe has the same set up? The only other option is to import from subaru in Japan but that's looking pricey.

Cheers kot

Import Car Parts sell the mechanism (£100 iirc)...not sure about the motor.

That's just saved me 70 quid cheers. Just the motor now.

I'm after passenger side motor for a type r. I contacted ICP who said the would look into ordering some - i'm awaiting an update but if you contact them too they may move quicker?

Import car parts? I have emailed asking. Would a 5 door motor not fit? Some of the prices I have been quoted from Japan have been eye watering.

sorry it's an old post it's not cheap but try this , mine was getting slow on the forster , new motors if you can get them are often between 300 and 400 £ from subaru

All sorted now thanks. I purchased the mechanism from ipc and sourced the motor from a 4 door.

good to hear it's all done , neither part is cheap to get hold of
