Hello guys thanks for stopping by this thread, I am in the market for an STi, maybe 2004 - 2007, I spotted this one and thought it looked fine to me, then I saw the engine bay, is it normal for the red paint on the manifold to fade like that? It's got 70,000Miles.

P.S. If you spot any reason why I should not buy it, such as abuse signs or anything, please tell me, and any things I should look out for on other STi's if I find a good one?

it can peel a bit and nothing to say it won't fade , i've not looked at add was it painted by subaru or current owner ?

Clearly no one has given a dam about that engine bay so who knows how well it's been looked after , all depends on the price really

Well if Trinidad is anything like Jamaica with the roads and the general attitude of the people... then I'd say it's not bad... :lol1:

It's a 13yr old car... so when all things are considered... you're going to have to take a leap of faith and hope for the best... just make sure you have a decent bundle of cash on standby should the worst happen. :thumb:

Looks like it was painted slong with the TMIC. Maybe it's been waterblasted at some stage?
