Wheel wobble

Recently had new discs and pads all round before I bought it, but my 05 STI has a strange wheel vibration. Driving along normally, there is a very small vibration through the steering wheel. Once I touch the brakes it becomes quite pronounced. However if I increase the brake pressure, the wobble goes.

Any ideas?

Balancing, wheel bearing etc?

That's what I'm thinking. Will investigate this weekend.

Maybe prepping not done right when replacing disc and pads resulting in warped discs :wonder:

Right spigot rings fitted ? Had a little bit of that until I noticed that the spigot rings were too big.

No, standard STI alloys.

I would take the discs off and make sure the wheel hub face is clean and flush,it only takes a little bit of rust or debris on the face to cause a wobble.

My thoughts are the discs would be warped allready by now if that's how they have been replaced
wouldn't the wheel bearing make a noise if it was gone?
