Whiteline ARB rear brackets
Are they dude specific ?
Can't seem to find anything saying they are , just wondering what the side holes are for ? This is how I've footed them https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.sco...244283e90e.jpg https://cimg4.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.sco...79e70e0413.jpg |
Right , found out I've fitted them wrong , they need to have the plates part facing inwards of the car , cool , yet the instructions all show the brackets with the arrow on them , mine have holes instead of an arrow .
So , mine are the holes type , not arrived type , do I go with big hole at the back or the atbfyony ? https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.sco...648c8574a0.png |
I wouldn't worry, the plate is to stop them collapsing, so I can`t see it mechanically matters where the plate is, maybe for aesthetics ?
|
Yeah , agree , I will rotate them so the plate is facing inwards just to be sure but as for the direction will just go for the bigger hole at the back on each side .
Cheers |
The new style are side specific , they have a ridge that needs to face forward of the car , yet they are pretty symmetrical brackets so wonder why they are side specific with this ridge ?
Which got me wondering about the holes in mine |
Well for anyone else's info in the future , turns out the brackets are side specific AND rotation specific !
Got there in the end tho , phew !! |
