Has anyone any experience of prices for this from local dealers?

With 90k miles you chould consider going to a non-dealer specialist such as Alastair Burrows in Dungannon.He works almost exclusively on scoobs.He advertises in Autotrader.

Have you used him or heard any reports from anyone? The 90K service seems a real killer - I could nearly buy my wife another car for the costs I'm hearing.

Try Michael at Oldmill Autos in Mallusk. He specializes in subarus and other performance cars. A lot cheaper and safer than a main dealer, and do you really trust dealers??? especially car dealers. I know a few people who work as mechanics in main dealers, NO WAY would I take any car to them.

thanks for that stevieturbo - have you ever used Oldmill Autos? Good mechanics who know what they are doing and won't rip you off are hard to find. I know what you mean about Dealer servicing, I'm not convinced that they take good care of your car while charging a fortune in the process.

Yes, Although, he is also a good friend, but the only person I would trust my car to. Give him a call, or go and speak to him, then you can decide for yourself.

Between 500 + 600 I think they quoted me , that's what put me off a high miler :(
