Bit of help please

So when I'm driving my car it runs absolutely fine but when I come to a stop it cuts out on me doesn't matter if I change down through the gears eventually when I stop it cuts out. What do you think this could be?

What makes you say that mate it hasn't all ways done it? I would have thought if it was a map issue would have been instant

Mate you never specified that it never use to do it in you first post so just generalised as my mate had the exact problem, when he got his car back from the mapper it was fine until he started to slow down and cut out and took him a few turns of the key to get it started again and his was a mapping problem and after a map tweak never done it again.SJ.

Sticky idle control valve is my bet. Take it off and give it a good clean.

Have you touched the throttle position sensor on the throttle body at all?

anti lag?

ossett2k2 12 February 2017 06:47 PM

I mentioned spark plugs as my car was stalling(only when cold tho) new plugs cured this.
If you do remove the iacv to clean it then make sure you have a new gasket to hand as you won't be able to re-use the old one.
