what gasket?

Im going to change my inlet pipe on my2001 jdm sti bug

Iam thinking that if I can lift the inlet manifold up enough, I will have space to fit it.

But what inlet gaskets would I need please?

The inlet manifold to head, or inlet to the tumbler thing.

This is a pic of my inlet

If youre going to lift the manifold anyway then id change both pairs tbh as theres a good chance theyre gonna split anyway, saves doing them again in the future too.

Im in a similar position Ian, if your just looking to replace like for like then you'll need these

Or you could get phenolic spacers to reduce manifold temps.
Speak with Alyn @As performance as i did today, he'll advise whats best for you.

if i was just going to lift the inlet manifold from the tgv, then im guessing that this is the gasket that i would need?

Iirc the bolts go through both the manifold and the tgv so theres a good chance when you lift the manifold the lower gaskets may split too, for the sake of an extra 15 quid get both sets.

arr thanks gazz, didn't realize that about the bolts, ill order both sets

thanks

If its a silicone pipe your installing then no need to lift the manifold, ive done a few now and theyre easy enough to do.

I took power steering pump off to fit one to mine and it just slid in from front with a bit of wiggling about
