Aspen White Bugeye Wrx
Hello guys and girls im Simon and im 20 years old, figured it was about time i started a new thread up to show my progress and updates on my new bugeye i purchased from cuprajake on here the other week.
I came from owning a 57 plate Hawkeye R sport that i carried out a few mods to which were Prodrive GT1'S, Pedders suspension and full exhaust, was great as i was 19 but wasnt quite the turbo model. https://c1.staticflickr.com/8/7319/2...269e20df_c.jpg https://c1.staticflickr.com/8/7757/2...37c67789_c.jpg Now fast forward to now, i knew i wanted another Subaru this year but felt like i was only going backwards if i bought another non turbo as i had been there done that, and the jdm hawkeye sti insurance was so out of reach i decided to start looking at wrx's which is when i came across Jake's bugeye. Now i was never a fan of them initially but since owning it i have changed my mind. The spec it has for the price i paid was the reason i went for it, so after meeting him ( top top bloke ) i paid the asking price and drove it home. Glad the cars being well looked after
I never noticed any hesitation on full boost but tbh i never really took it there haha. It was used daily to n from work |

The hesitation is just wear and tear hopefully youve sorted it, it is a used car after all nothing that can't be sorted mate look forward to see how it evolves in your hands and to see you at some shows with it this year :) |

That cars belonged to 3 members on here and everyone of us has looked after it so you've got a lot to live up to........
It certainly looks better with the spoiler back on and i preferred the front when Jake had the Prodrive bumper on it. It's certainly had some money spent on it over the years. Heres what it looked like before Jake got his hands on it and spoilt it lol: Attachment 26700 |

Thanks for the comments guys didn't expect as many haha, indeed i have alot to live upto but hopefully i won't disappoint too many of you.
--------- Right so a few things have happened since last weekend, one being i finally got to take it out on the road and can confirm the stutter on full boost has now gone, so coilpacks or plugs cured it so im over the moon with that :luxhello:. I've seen this car transform so much over the years it's unreal. And it still looks like new! Keep us all up dated buddy.

Anyway as usual still got a few more jobs to get done, and some better photo's next weekend hopefully. Comment away. |
They look very expensive those seats. Proper huggers! Are they going to be comfy on longish drives or more of a track day seat
