Impreza hatch valve
 
Hi guy's disaster on Saturday, car dropped a cylinder and garage have told me it's a valve, what am i looking at for cost to fix and what's involved any help appreciated.

Call Ian or Sha at pole position, one of them should be able to give you a ballpark figure over the phone.
Head of offending valve will have to be removed to assess the damage.

Pole position can also collect and deliver your car on trailer if required. Won't go wrong at PP they been building engines and modifying subarus for last 10 years

Not really known for dropping valves. What makes them think that. More likely to have bust a piston if its the standard engine. Suspect if it is confirmed that it has dropped a valve then it will be pretty catastrophic inside
