sounds more like front arm bushes (common issue) or some other suspension/chassis issue rather than brakes??

Found another symton body vibrates as well when accelerating about 2500rpm can feel it in seat and gearstick too and when braking hard! Nothing worn/split,

Hi, my hatch seems to "inherit" this problem around every 5-6000 miles. I do get judder through the steering wheel and it is only noticed when breaking a little harder than standard but gets quite worrying.

Changing the front brake discs always solves it for me as the front, drivers side seems to "warp." I have had the car into 2 specialists who could not find a problem, cleaned the hubs, had the calipers serviced and am none the wiser.

Having had a look around the Internet, especially on the American forums it seems a fairly common issue and no common reason or fix.

If you find out what it is let us know and good luck.

I've found that rear most transmission mounting outer rubbers has split as appose to the centre main rubber, anyone had the same??? Or even worn propshaft?????
