Front plate location
 

Just a quick one chaps is there anyone thats put here front plate on drivers side between light and fog or where other places are there and legal ?

Never had any problems with mine being here , Perrin relocation kit was used to attach it to

Mines in the same place as domino46, also using the Perrin relocation kit and had no hassle, mines on a hawkeye tho

I'm also looking into doing this but can't find a supplier of a relocation kit in the UK. Perrin want a ridiculous amount of money for their kit.

Why not make one out of your front tow hook with some inspiration or use your imagination ehh ;)

#domino46 is that a hatch specific roof vent or one for all Impreza's mate ?

I did wot zany said first of all and cobbled one up using a spare tow eye thingy lol but got the proper Perrin one from scoobyclinic in the end, they were doing Perrin stuff, worth a look

eBay sell a Relocation kit for £64 from the states

Scoobyclinic still do um, just had a look, £76.60 i think

I did think about making my own but don't have the time atm. Everywhere I was looking they wanted over £100 for the perrin one. I'll take a look at scooby clinic £76 isn't too bad, thanks.

Yeah simple job to fit, their gone down in price n all coz i paid 90 quid for mine last yr

Love the roof vent pal any closer pics also im thinking of using a sticker plate but the standard shape between the headlight and the fog on my hatch are they legal ?

I also gotta bit of black acrylic cut to size off good ole flea bay to cover up the screw holes left on the bumper where the original number plate was, all in the detail you know lol

Will the one on scooby clinic fit a hatch? Are they all the same?

Thats what i was planning then getting a sum kind of red sticker like the perrin one but differant

Im not sure if it fits a hatch m8, you will have to haps give um a call, only shows the Perrin plate holder in the 06-07 hawk section, I've got pics on me phone will have to try and suss out how to get um up on here lol

This is mine with Perrin relocation plate and the acrylic plate i made up, does the job

Looks good Ted I like it. I plan to get a metal one made up with a laser cut emblem on it undecided what yet though.

Yeah m8 sounds like a plan, like i said mines just a bit of black acrylic made to measure and a impreza decal stuck on it, better then unsightly holes hey

They never made the hatch with a roof flap so this one is from a blobeye spec c ,, fitted it myself as iv done quite a few of them now on my other Scoobs

I made my own delete plate , cut a bit of metal to size , sprayed with red crinkle paint and let dry , then put one of the many free Perrin stickers on top and then sprayed black over it and then removed the sticker so just the red Perrin is crinkle

Love it id love a roof scoop but not got the nuts to cut into my car lol

Wasn't my first time cutting into my roof as I did similar mods to my hawk as well

I did my own aswell mate just need time and patience especially when I got quoted price of £450 To get it done locally!! when frays who was going to do it for me wanted less than half that :( guess it worked out better for me as I can fit them easily now as ive made my own templates up :luxhello:

Were you buy um ive seen um but the like £500 is it worth buyin a used one

Mine is a used one paid £200 as I didn't take the roof lining with it no probs

The rubber seals that go on roof can be bought separately from icp aswell
