Similar build to my Spec D, but my deck is still only semi closed, not pinned either. You may well find a bit of piston slap when cold, but that soon goes once warmed up. Enjoy the Spec D stealth factor all the more! It's a WRX mate....honest :norty: |
yeah i'll 2nd the piston slap on cold but they are build to expand so its more prevalent anyway, but yes, def slaps when cold. i've grown to like that sound oddly....i'm just weird though :freak3:

That's part of the reason I chose the Mahle 4032 instead of the 2618's. As you can have a tighter bore clearance less expansion = less slap :)
Plans for the future would be around 400bhp |
