Cheers . a lot of patience required searching for the bits but it’s come a long way from where it was when I bought it

Looks good. What shade of bronze paint did you use on the wheels?

morandpeter 14 May 2018 11:34 AM

Awesome work there keep it up!

Wheel colour is Fiat 750 Marciano or something like that goes a bit gold in the sun. Need powder coating really as the brakes have eaten into the paint in no time. Rotors are also on ther last legs, them ds3000 have eaten thediscs alive, my car was black/orange down the sides during winter due to the amount of material coming off the brakes

Yep I thought it was. That's the bronze I use. Looks good.

New brakes required

So after 12 months of daily driving with the AP set up I need new discs and pads. The ds3000 that I had have completely eaten the discs. Iv bought some ds2500 withgodspeed replacement rotors. Hopefully these pads will be a bit easier on the discs

I have not seen this build up until now. Good work man! You have turned this into a very nice looking car!

New rotors and pads fitted today. Didn’t realise that the pads need machining to suit the large discs but soon sorted using die grinder

Owned this for 5 years now and Still blasting about. All credit to lads at pole position that the car has been fast and reliable all the time I’ve owned it. I think Oil change every 3000 miles helps to keep these engines running nice
