Oh, that's why I mentioned the recall and unlike you suggest that it might be a software issue. Wake up you jumped up prick. Reset it to factory default - which I very much doubt was done - then see.

He's already mentioned that he's done that you utter cunt. Learn to read.

Then you need to go back to the Apple store and stomp your feet a bit more, show them it happening.

peter zippy reid 19 January 2017 07:00 PM

I dont know what more i can do as we showed the guy it had 58% when we sat down with him 3-5mins later it had 34% he still said not a battery issue they are working on a software update to sort it

peter zippy reid 19 January 2017 07:00 PM

So if software why no fix over 2 months later

JackClark 19 January 2017 07:12 PM

You got the worse 'Genius' ever. First thing he should have done is taken a quick and simple look to see what had used that much battery in that time, it's all listed and you should be aware of it and monitor it.

I'd suggest contacting them from here https://getsupport.apple.com and trying again.

"Apple admitted last year there was a problem with the 6s, and set up a programme to replace iPhone 6s with battery problems. The issue was only in China, however, and Apple said it was only a few phones... yea china only, yea right

Apple said: "We found that a small number of iPhone 6s devices made in September and October 2015 contained a battery component that was exposed to controlled ambient air longer than it should have been before being assembled into battery packs.

"As a result, these batteries degrade faster than a normal battery and cause unexpected shutdowns to occur."

My 6s was switching off around the 38% battery life . Esp if I was outdoors ( phone cold etc
Enough was enough , it went off so I used ( another phone & booked a appointment that evening at apple ( Genius Bar ) sat down & asked the guy politely if he was a product specialist & if not could he go find one .another guy came over after prompt switched my phone on & nothing ( battery charge indicator ) he plugged it in & hey presto after 2 mins 38% battery charge . He went away with my details & onto a telephone came back 2 mins later & give me a new phone .. should bloody think so ( job done
