Hodgy, have you been to see any of his gigs?

lol.Good stuff :-)

My favourite comedian. And I hesitate to say that, because he'd rip the piddle out of me for it.

I've deliberately chosen a seat side-on to the stage. I hope it's televised for the inevitable DVD...so that he does those hilarious 'speaking to the TV viewers' asides. :lol1: |

no sadly not, although I did used to go to quite a lot of comedy back in the day, when we lived in London

Been to the Comedy Store, Leic Sq. a couple of times back in c.1992. Jo Brand was gigging at the time (an 'unknown' then). Also there was a hilarious, slightly surreal bloke...... A young Sean Lock! Once again, back then, obviously didn't know who he was (going to become). |

I remember the Jack Dee gig - I kept saying for a few years after "this jack dee guy will be big" the compare was Nick Revel that night I saw Mark Lamaar as well - whatever happened to him?? a young Noel Fielding (he was v funny) |
My daughter earned a few brownie points by taking her current amour to see Lee in Leicester quite recently. They both loved the show.
I think he is very, very funny. Where YouTube comes into its own :thumb: David |

Belated response...
Gig was hilariously funny. And very clever. No doubt it'll be on telly/DVD in the near future. |
Daughter and b/f's favourite. They went to see him in Leicester a while back and in Bristol, where they live, a couple of weeks ago.
I think he's great. Refreshing sarky humour - love it. david |
He's pure genius. Simply the best.

Indeed it is... Heads up: tomorrow (Sat, 28), BBC2, 10.45pm 2hrs of comedy gold (it was filmed when he was playing one of the Southend gigs). Can't wait (despite having already seen it live :cuckoo:). |

He can be funny but I found he can sometimes become a little bit self righteous and indulgent.
Bill Hicks on the hand.... |
Bit too deadpan if you ask me |
