Strange noise
 

I have a noise on my blob eye that happens when driving in straight line or turning the wheel left it gets louder but stops when turning right , it's a like squeaking noise coming from right wheel you can hear it rotating while sqealing could this be a wheel bearing

Brake pads low maybe or a trapped stone etc..

Wheel bearing usually makes a sort of a middle pitch #wah wah# sound as you go around a corner.

The offending wheel will be one of the two loaded-up outer wheels.

Based on your description, it doesn't sound like a worn bearing, TBH.

Corroded/bent brake disc backing plate?

I had a similar issue. which was at its worst when rolling around at low speed. All the bearings were fine, it turned out to be a lose hub!

I had a similar issue which drove me nuts for months. Eventually found that it was a single siezed piston in one of the brake calipers.

If any one is interested it was a bad wheel bearing it had a lot of play in it

Did you get a garage to supply and fit?

If so, how much?

I haven't had a wheel bearing go (on any of my previous cars) for years, now. Unlike my hot hatch hooning days, throughout the 90s.
