Hi all

A guy at work got his Cooper S two days ago, used it a day, and then only went and had it modified yesterday - lowered, wheels, tyres, tints, stripes etc!!!!!

I just took some pics for him at lunch so thought I'd share them :)

Scoobychick - He got this one and his mate got another S (though he already has a Cooper with Nitrous!!!) I believe his mates S is now winging its way to Superchips "for development" :)

Astraboy - Yep I did think that myself, though I guess the alloys and profile of the tyres aren't helping matters!

You should see under the bonnet though (I know, I forgot to take piccies!) - talk about no space, the windscreen washer bottles are virtually in the doors and the battery is in the boot so at least its keeping that old Mini tradition of a rusty boot floor ;)

Whats the Drivel "jelly test" going to be like in that dropped thingy now?

Look it's even got a handle on the roof at the back to lift it up, that was if it was a proper mini.

Don't like it (not just that one) sorry - I'm sure you'll find a buyer sooner or later ;-)

LOL!

It does seem to be a "love it or loathe it" doesn't it ;)

I didn't like the new mini myself at first but it is growing on me now - though only in this 163(?)bhp S form!

I'm also reserving judgement on performance and handling, I've told him I won't go out in it until its run in and he's got used to throwing it about :)

Must admit that looks very smart indeed.

The more i see these the more i am getting to like them.after all they are made by BMW and we all know the germans are good when it comes to engineering. :D

That's lowered? Needs to get his money back. Mrs Cs has the MINI Sports Suspension Plus and sits lower than that (also on 17").

Nice but..
Tints are too 'pimp' 50% looks better on a MINI, that looks at least 30%
Loose the blacks bonnet strips
Add the Chrome Grill spotlights
Add the white lamp kit

:D
