Has it DCCD if not I'm pretty sure that makes it a V limited. Very few toys cause they where destined to be converted to rally cars think they came fitted with 2 pot front brakes also. Basically anything that wasn't needed or going to be used on a rally car was left off.

Look into it. Its to do with rally homologation a lot of the v limited came with no DCCD no electric windows 2pot front brake single pot rears basically everything that was going to be replaced.

Seriously chap, I don't need to look into it :thumb:

Do a little more research fella.
You are probably getting a bit confused with a WRX Type R Vlimited which is of the same era as the OPs. The WRX Type R was a slightly less spec'd version.

they did a v4 wrx sti type r ( no roof vent )

then they did a v4 wrx sti type r v limited in 74f colour code ( no roof vent ) -and only produced from jan 98 till march 98 with no limited number on each car
it was for the 1997 win in the rally

Yours 'had' a roof vent? So it's not got one now?

I Think the OP is saying the v4 wrx type R had a roof vent.
The car he has for sale is a v4 wrx sti type r v limited which has not got a roof vent.
