Cheers both

Don't suppose you can recommend washmitt and drying towels?
PB are doing a synthetic microfibre wash mitt which they say outlasts the traditional lambswool (which i've never used anyway).
They say the lambswook mitts eventually fall apart?

They do indeed. As they're a natural hide the pile does eventually fall out and render them useless. Drying naturally helps but I only get 6 months tops out of them.

The Adams synthetic washmitt is very similar but lasts a lot longer.

Drying towels I personally use either the Auto finesse or Definitive wax, both very good.

Hi,

I'm a detailer enthusiast for 20 years and running a p/t business for the last 4 years.

I buy all my stock from predominantly one place www.perfectlycleaned.co.uk

The service is second to none and the stock is a wide variety with enough to satisfy anyone from beginner to weekend warrior to pro.

Wash mits i would go with something that is merino lambs wool or a mf noodle mit like gtechniq sell. You can get something decent anywhere from £10 - £20

Drying towels as above states teh AutoFinesse one is great. I use Britemax and also the gtechniq one. I use a separate smaller towel for wheels and exhaust and another for plastics.

As for products - like i said check out a few like above. But some smaller boutique brands can offer you good value for money on starter kits.

Look at the likes of -

AutoGlanz
Autoperfeckt
EZ Car Care

All offer great products at reasonable prices and its a lot better than your Halfrauds stuff.

Or if you just want to sample a few things and not spend a massive amount. Try a shop like

www.sample-this.co.uk
or
www.cleanyourride.co.uk

They offer different individual or bundled items at very low cost and gives you an idea of what you might like to use before making a bigger purchase.

Any questions i'm happy to offer my opinion. All advice above too is good.
