Acessing BT sport
Looking to watch BT sport, and I want to watch it on my TV, but from what I can see I can only watch it if I have an IPhone I do but can't get the picture to TV, Android own nothing with Android software, windows 10 which I don't want, and that seems to be all my options, there's no app for it on xbox live?

I then use that log in to access the app on my laptop and connect to tv with HDMi cable |

I can see motogp on freesat
|
Yup good for Motorsport, motogp,WRC etc :)
|
I'm with BT but you only get sky sports one free, which is fine but trying to find ways to watch on TV, i have an Iphone so USB cable won't work with that. At moment I've tried laptop then using HDMI cable to TV.
But its abit messy setup. I don't have a sky box, but looking to buy new freeview box. Don't you need Apple TV to use air play?

Had bt for last ten years and didn't once bother with the sport bit. Switched to plusnet |
On Android just Google Modbro, Every sport channel you need is on there
|

Get a chromecast for your iphone and then beam it to the tv? Or just get a cheapo android box http://www.gearbest.com/tv-box-mini-...ampaign=FB1607 |

Cheers for info, might opt for cheap android box.
I've managed to use my xbox to watch BT sport on explorer not perfect but will do for now.

I'm hacked off there is no BT Sport app on the Xbone as there is in Windows 10 store and the Xbone is supposed to be Windows 10 as well. I can't be arsed to plug my laptop in via hdmi I just want it on the Xbone.
I had thought about trying it via the web browser but not got round to it. What's the quality like? |

and only standard Freeview TV I have the same problem, seems to only be available via an App on a "device" or HDMI from the "device" to the TV - less than ideal I bought an Amazon Firestick - not really for BT sport, but looked into getting the BT App onto it it seemed possible and I think a got 80% there, various hacks into the hidden file system / OS updates etc but I sort of gave up tbh - I don't watch much stuff on BT Sport - just Arsenal games so connect a laptop via HDMI |
Its not to bad to be fair, its a pain having to log in and go though to tv channels then enlarge picture, but i have a large tv screen and picture comes up well. Still a faff though, alot easier with sky sports.

Live BT sports via android box/kodi sucks, always buffers, quality at best will be 720p, unless you pay a sub to an iptv service. Even then i'm not convinced it would be reliable.

Jack will know. :)

He knows very little.

About BT Sport, I know nothing, don't watch anything on it and refuse to pay more than my licence fee for television. Anyone that does is a mug.
|
On an Android box the best for any sports is Modbro, Kodi is rubbish compared to that

Are you able to watch BT Sports in a web browser tab (in addition to the actual app) on your iPhone? Yes/no?
If yes, read on... Install the "Tubio" streaming app on your iPhone. Then you can cast ANY webpage to a smart Wi-Fi TV that has a DLNA media renderer/server app installed (it can also cast any videos or pictures on your phone, too). All you have to do is open your TV's own DLNA app on the TV. Then open Tubio on the phone and choose the same DLNA by clicking on the 'Select TV' icon (extreme bottom-right). Then, using Tubio's own web search facility, go to the BT Sports webpage, click the channel you want (press 'play/start' or whatever, as necessary) and hey presto, the stream should appear on the telly in fullsize. * Tubio is awesome. I've just installed it on my 5s and am currently beaming (tons'o'porn LOL :D) to my projector, via an Android box's 'eHomeMediaCenter' DLNA app. :luxhello:  |
looks very much like Panasonic tv remote app
which works ok for roughly 50% the time , drives crazy you cant use iPhone as media server . Presumably cos they want you buy apple tv  |
