My blobeye wagon ppp or remap?

Recently bought a blobeye wagon, spent a little bit of money getting back to a decent condition after the last owner neglected it for the previous 2 years. Had the cambelt and water pump done that was well overdue, new discs and pads all round, 4 new tyres, alignment and a full service. After all that I now want something a little faster, I've toyed with selling mine and getting a ppp spec wagon instead. Not sure this would be as cost and time affective as just getting a decent exhaust/filter and remapping it to similar power. And if anyone's got a suggested remapped in South Wales/Bristol. Just trying to get some thoughts, many thanks, Mogsy

Better to keep your car as you know what work has been done by yourself.

You can by PPP kit cheaply - it's just exhaust, Y-pipe and ECU. Should see about 260bhp.

Better results with a Sports Cat, fuel pump and custom remap. Should see about 280bhp and a lot more torque.

Great thanks for your help, don't happen to know of a decent mapper around South Wales/Bristol by any chance?
