Corolla T-Sport - 1.8 VVTLi 190bhp 2003 Milton Keynes

10 Attachment(s)
2003 Toyota Corolla 1.8 T-Sport – 190bhp
MOT – 31 August 2017
96,000 miles (In use so may rise slightly)
£1200 ONO

Car has a fairly good spec. Remote central locking, A/C Climate control, fuel economy computer (MPG), electric windows, heated rear screen and mirrors, steering wheel stereo controls. Etc.

This Corolla has the Toyota 2ZZ-GE engine as fitted to the Celica GTS and the Lotus Elise of the same era. fairly economical but fun when the lift kicks in. I purchased this car as a bit of a project but my plans have now changed so unfortunately it has to go.

Before the MOT it had a full service including some issues fixing.
· Nearside front wheel bearing replaced (have a spare bearing that will go with the sale)
· Nearside driveshaft seal replaced and 75w90 fully synthetic gearbox oil change
· Front pads replaced (Pagid)
· Wipers front and rear replaced with BOSCH wipers
· Engine oil and filter change (Bosch filter and Shell Helix Ultra 5w40 Fully Synthetic)
· Brake fluid replaced with Pagid DOT4
· Lift bolts have been replaced for the newer stronger versions (genuine Toyota part)
· Oil Control Valve (OCV) filters have been inspected and cleaned (lift engages as it should)
· Auxiliary belt replaced
· Offside Fog light replaced

I have done a few other bits but the list would start to go on…

It passed the MOT first time with only two minor advisories. Rear tyres worn (but still legal) and rear brake fluctuating. I have since fitted new slotted rear discs and EBC red pads.

Previous owner fitted a new clutch in December 2015 (have receipt for this)

During my ownership I have also made a few upgrades. The car now sits on APEX 40mm lowering springs. In my opinion it now looks as it should have from the factory.. The wheels/tyres fill the arches and it has greatly improved the ride and handling.
Gear linkage was a bit sloppy as original rubber bushes were worn. Now has polyurethane gear linkage bushes fitted and this has greatly improved the feel and precision of gear changes.
HKS Air filter

The bodywork isn’t perfect but for the age of the car it isn’t too bad. Usual supermarket knocks and marks.
It is a nice little car and to be honest it is a shame to sell it but it has to go.

Please send me a message to discuss if you are interested.
Many thanks,
Rob
