Finding somebodies residential address

Hi guys,

Basically I paid a company in Newcastle a 50% deposit (£1000) to have a website developed.

The 'Creative Director' is ignoring my telephone calls and emails. I've jsut sent him an email outlining everything and that he has until 5pm on Monday to either refund me my deposit or give me the logins for the site so I can pass the project on to somebody else.

If he doesn't contact me back, I'll have no other option but to go down the legal road of Small Claims Court and getting a CCJ on him. Now his office is actually a room within a building with a separate reception - a managed office block I think they call it.

If it does go down the legal route, would it be worth putting his home address on the claim form?

If so, how can i track down his home address?

Thanks,

Nick.

Cheers, the serviced offices is registered rather than his home address though :wonder:

If you have his mobile number. Add him on whatsapp, screenshot his profile pic if its of him. Also input his mobile number in facebook search, if he has a profile it will come up. Use this information to get back at him.

Cheers. I have his mobile number but a google search returns nothing. He's on FB but hasn't posted anything since 2012!

As you are pursuing a business matter, I would have thought using his personal address is inappropriate.

if you have the company website URL - bash it into hexillion.com if he started out small it may be registered at his home address.

Cheers, this comes up with his business address too.

So just pursue through the business address then you reckon?

I just wouldn't mind it going to his residential address as i feel like he 'hides' behind his business. If it were to arrive on his residential doorstep then I feel he'd pay more attention to it. Scam advisor shows 'Sitely' has 2 comments, both talk about court action - http://www.scamadviser.com/check-website/sitely.co.uk

When I pursued a business matter with a business, I made absolutely sure I had all the directors home address - and the company secretaries

Then I wrote them all a letter, including the registered business address asking for redress - otherwise I was going to sue them

What's more I made sure they all revived the letter on a Saturday morning

That sounds like an excellent idea. He works alone but gets people who freelance to do work for him.

I just need some way of finding his home address!

looks like he runs another business from the same place

You could try putting his name into 192.com (why have to pay), and see what comes up

------

If it is the same chap running the medico site, there is a Gosforth address at the bottom of the page.....

:thumb: Thanks for helping.

I don't think that's his business though. Looks like he built the site as it says web design by Sitely at the bottom!

I've looked for 24 Landsdowne Avenue on the Companies House website but can't find anything for Medico.

Yeah, that's him. Andrew Fenwick. I wonder if he hosts the site and classed as the owner?

I've searched 192 and got 2 addresses from that. I'll have to do some more digging. Wish I had a copper friend to do some checks :norty:

Oh my word! That is brilliant! Thank you very much! Really appreciated.

Have to think carefully what I do next. Knock on his door and hand him a letter or just pop something through his letterbox!
