I remember a few on here are with Quinn Direct, have any of you heard bad rumours about them recently.
I've just been to the police station to produce documents and when they saw the insurance certificate a worrying comment was passed. I don't really want to spread probable rubbish on here but financial problems were mentioned. |
It is true that the quinn group have made finacial losses due to poor investments... not sure if its the end of the company though, have u contacted them, a friend of mine recently renewed his insurance with them and he too was worried, mainly due to last years Carol nash drama, where alot of bikers got burned becos they closed shop without refunding polices!!!

To be honest I couldn't see much point in contacting them, they would be unlikely to give out such info IMO.

I have been insured with them for a few years now and have had a good experience. They were much cheaper than anyone else and provide a first class service first with my wrx and now with my Evo5.My cousin just insured his Evo7 with them today on very good terms. One thing to remember though-you dont have windscreen or contents cover and your excess will be £300-£500.Hope this is of help.

Sunday Driver I've been with them now for 4 years and have never had cause for complaint. They dealt with and paid out for a stolen 5 month old Scoob in Jan 2001 and I have nothing but praise for the service and payout I got.
The point is just a rumour which I was told at the local cop/PSNI station last nite. I'm merely asking if anyone had heard similar "rumours" recently. |
Maybe I'm barking up the wrong bush (usually am) but don't these guys have to be underwritten. Otherwise any eejit could start up go bust and leave a lot of people hanging in mid air!
