Who can roll arches/fenders like this!

Love this arch job, takes some skill that, think it looks better than widearch kits IMO.
Who can do it like that?

It's called a flare,I have seen it on a EVO,it looked really good.I know archenemyhttp://www.archenemy.co.uk/offer this service but at the owners risk as 9 times out of 10 you will get cracks in your arch paint work where they do the flaring, but I guess it's only a lick of paint around the arch so no biggie;).SJ.

ZANY 07 September 2016 07:29 AM

Now that looks as it was meant to be would look sickkly monstrous on yours bro hope you get it done:thumb:

Email back from archenemy.(seems they don't have that extra skill)

Thanks for the email

I think the car in the picture has had those arches welded on and smoothed
in. It's a very big flare and the fronts especially aren't capable of that
kind of stretch.

Also I don't roll 2 door classics as they develop a big shallow dent in the
panel above and in front of the rear arch

Thirdly I can't do your location, and theres no way you can come to me

So sorry but I can't help with this

bustaMOVEs 07 September 2016 06:02 PM

Now I'm pretty sure they aren't stuck on and smoothed, it looks like time and care has been taken, that's all.
Maybe had fresh paint and a bit of filler to smoothen

I Agree:),it would of been better for him to email you back just to say that he did not have the talent to do the arches as shown in your picture, and then give you a colleague's contact details who could do the job...SJ.

Lol, exactly.
I know from the post o knicked picture from that it had time and care taken to create the smooth curves, it's very rare, hence I like it instead of the ever so popular bolt on arches.
I may in the future just get the bolt on stuff and have it filled and smoothed to create simlar look

banny sti 07 September 2016 10:24 PM

Single biggest issue you will have doing the rear 1/4s is once you pull them beyond a certain point the panel will crease. That looks to be in Japan as its newera imports car and mostly likely its still had a fair amount of bodywork after to make it look as good as it does

hardcoreimpreza 07 September 2016 10:51 PM

If you want to roll fenders try an American forum :cuckoo:

bustaMOVEs 10 September 2016 09:09 AM

Leave the car as it is mate, looks ace! Really is a nice looking car. There's plenty of grip to be had under standard arches pal, trust me I know ;).
Grey type r one of the nicest looking classics

hardcoreimpreza 10 September 2016 04:05 PM

If we were on an American forum do you think the'd be saying arches? Noooo.

And what about other Languages in this Country like WELSH? You've not catered for them. It should of said Arches/Bwâu.

Makes you sound like a google slapper.

Sort yourself out lad.

I am considering it joe as seems too much of a hasstle tbh, I may just get 8" wheels so I can run 225 tyres and just roll arches at the worst if I can't get enough camber without sacrificing ride on road.

I do miss my ce28s now, but the 7.5j et50 wasn't really suitable for my calipers unfortunately.

joe v3sti 10 September 2016 08:38 PM

It would be a good option corky, 225s ate achievable on a 7.5 with a small roll mate.
Just got to be creative with how to achieve your desired geo

Ha ha yes weird i maybe, can't argue with that.

But ive noticed you say a lot of American words in your posts, you either watch way to much tv, or have a poor grasp of the English language.
