Over the years many of us will have had many exhausts systems, i've lost count, just thought though out of all the systems you've had whats been your favourite, doesn't have to have been on a Subaru. Here's a list of 10 popular brands.

5/ HKS
6/ Jetex
7/ Piper
8/ Cobra
9/ Remus
10/ Mongoose
11/ Blitz
12/ Hayward and Scott
13/ Supersprint
14/ Cheery bomb
15/ Janspeed
16/ Japspeed
17/ Ashely

On an Impreza, it has to be the 'standard' titanium STi exhaust. A mate had one on his S202, fantastic piece of engineering!

For other cars, I think it has to be a straight through miltek on a Mk2 Focus RS. That 5 pot is such a brilliant sounding engine but the miltek brings it alive!

SmurfyBhoy 18 August 2016 10:53 AM

Akrapovic, shame they don't do anything for our cars

jaygsi 18 August 2016 11:08 AM

I nearly added Akrapovic on the list but, to be honest i never heard of them till i did a search. Another one i didn't add was Hornet.

jaygsi 18 August 2016 11:45 AM

I also forgot Magnex.

Agree. My WRX RA had a full Fujitsubo Titanium, weight nothing and sounded epic.

I still need to do a sound-test of my system. Might do it tonight if it's not pissing down with rain.

harry007 18 August 2016 12:25 PM

tomei & miltek

Steve001 18 August 2016 03:19 PM

Voted cobra based on another car (not scooby)

TSL for the scooby, not sure if their still going?

DannyBoy007 18 August 2016 08:24 PM

Any of the jap ones, Build quality/sound is far better than the ones made in this country.

They put extra thought into the design. use extra bracing, use thicker material where it's needed. Just look at the welds on a Uk made system, Miltek are more of blob of metal.

Invida Q300. Best exauast.

The Jap exhausts Ive had in the past have rusted up and are of a mild steel metal, HKS super dragger for example looks great on the backbox and tailpipe design as its stainless steal, but the midsection is terrible and rusts(HKS supposed to be the bees knees for Jap car tuning) Same goes for the Fujitsubo exhaust I also had on my STi the quality was terrible with the mid pipe rusting again.

But then Ive had also had a few Blitz Nur Spec and the quality has been great and they sound lovely:luvlove: So my argument about Jap exhausts is pointless:D

TSL Firestorm, still shiny been off the car for 4 years :)

Why aren't Kwik Fit on the list? :)

The Pink Ninja 19 August 2016 05:38 PM

Miltek and Blitz for me...cat backs anyway as the Miltek downpipe has had issues with cracking at the turbo flange

scooby1994 19 August 2016 07:19 PM

TSL firestorm, shame you can't get them anymore.

jaygsi 19 August 2016 07:59 PM

My best subaru exhaust has to be powerflow. I've had loads.

ZANY 19 August 2016 08:10 PM

Blitz for me all the way as I can't have a genuine sti titanium item which has to be the best sounding exhaust on any Impreza I've heard the one in m2rtx's jdm wow!! Monstrous exhaust just right

Matty_WRX_Wagon 19 August 2016 08:26 PM

I had a Mongoose section 59 on my focus st and it sounded sweet, currently running a japspeed on the Scooby sounds good in the car but haven't let anyone run it past me yet to see what it sounds like outside the car

legb4rsk 19 August 2016 08:30 PM

Sti Genome also missing. Original Subaru part.Fantastic quality & good overall sound if you do't want to go deaf early.:D

WUZ 19 August 2016 11:21 PM

TSL Pulse Extraction

Cambs_Stuart 20 August 2016 07:44 AM

I've got a prodrive (as made under license by scorpion) on mine which is very good, but my favourite ever was on my Mondeo ST220, from jp exhausts:
http://www.jpexhausts.co.uk/
It sounded superb.

S3LDM 20 August 2016 08:21 AM

Blitz Nur Spec "R" for me

If its too loud for you get the Blitz Nur Spec "S" as it a bit quieter

bigh221 20 August 2016 09:25 AM

Invidia 👍

On my Impreza found power flow to be the best, so far.

Apostle 24 August 2016 04:37 PM

I've tried quite a few on the list and have always come back to Hayward & Scott .... comparing them to my current Milltek system it's surprising how cheap the Milltek is in looks and construction
