Do you have any idea what caster these achieved on your car ?

thanks ---john---

sivo 04 August 2016 06:40 AM

Hi john
I would say between 5.5 and 7 degrees but I also had adjustable top mounts at the time.
Turn in and corner grip is dramatically improved with these arms, obviously you would need a good geometry set up too :thumb:

Kind regards
Siv

After speaking to Simon at chevron today I can tell you that these arms on their own would give you 4.5 - 5 degrees of caster.
A standard sti alloy arm gives you 3 and chevrons modification adds 1.5 - 2 degrees.
With the machining the wheels sit as far forward as possible to aid turn in and high speed stability.
Hope that helps you more.

Will these fit a v5 type r?

I spoke to carnetix in Melton Mowbray about fitting these to a classic and they said they would fit.
Obviously you would need your geometry setting up too.
