Subaru Impreza SL PPP - Great spec with a recent engine rebuild

For sale is my Subaru Impreza WagonSL with PPP. I’ve owned the car for around a year and in that time it’s been a pleasure to own. Having the versatility of a family car and the outstanding performance from the 2.0 boxer engine it makes for a fantastic drivingexperience.

It’s in good condition inside andout with zero rust, unmarked seats and all electrics working as they should. Itdoes has a couple of small parking dents on the driver’s side and marks onbumpers but as you can see from the photos the overall condition is brilliant.

Being the SL model it comes with heated leather seats and door cards and a sunroof which really improve the lookof the cabin. Due to its late registration (2006) it also benefits from the facelift centre console, which again improves the overall appearance.

It’s had some subtle but worth whilechanges made in my ownership which are listed below. This also includes an engine rebuild at 67,500 miles due to crank failure (very unlucky with a lowmileage engine). The rebuild was carried out at CCA Developments at great expense and uprated parts used where necessary.

It’s been run-in following the correct procedures and has performed flawlessly since. It seems a shame to sellafter investing so much money in the engine build but the arrival of new car forces its sale.

Dealers are trying to sell standard cars with higher mileage for more than mine 😵

Trying to! :thumb:

With the rebuild, spec and mileage, I'd say that price isn't too far out. Now if I could only sell my e92 coupe, this would be a perfect family motor. Sure the wife would agree!

Whereabouts are you?

Matt_182 13 August 2016 11:06 AM

Warwickshire, in a village on the outskirts of Rugby.

Waiting for the rain to pass over and I'll grab some photos.

I guess we'll find out when the OP sells it :wonder:

I'd be interested if this was a few months down the line but I have a wedding to pay for first.

Got a chap coming on Wednesday eve, seems very keen so I think it'll sell quickly. I'm cherishing the last few days just in case!
