Pics of my CV looking strange

I had my CV joint replaced around 3-4 months ago. Soon after I noticed that the clips weren't tight enough and it spilled out grease. Took it back straight away to get it sorted. Now it looks like this. No grease appears to have escaped and I am now getting 'wirring' noises at 40-60mph and a few clicks on full lock.

Is anyone able to suggest what has happened as I have never seen a boot do this before? :freak3:

needs rotating to undo twist in boot.

Thanks guys. The garage put it right which was great for a day, no noises. Driving to work this morning and back came the noise when accelerating. The boot still looks straight so is this just coincidence and perhaps unrelated to the cv joint or could something have gone wrong with the joint while the boot was out of shape?

The boot is just a cover to keep the grease in and stop dirt and debris getting in there, do some slow manoeuvres building up speed with full lock on both ways

There is an obvious clicking when accelerating on full lock on the drivers side (same as the boot pictured) when turning right that seems to be getting worse. This has coincided with the boot twisting. Could this be sheer coincidence or related? I have also notice that the ball joint boot has failed on the same side. Could this click on full lock or cause a whirling noise when accelerating?
