Ok I thought id update you guys and girls with what we been up to lately as most will know earlier this year I decided to shelf my big car and go a different route with that car so it was time for a new project that can be done quickly and farily cheap compared to other car while still being competitive hopefully and to get me out asap

So roll on the 2003 blobeye Sti prevously owned and built by Pete hardy on here to a good spec then brought by big Fud where we stepped in and did a lot of work on the car to get it working how we wanted and get a better tune on the car when Fud decided to sell it and after putting so much time and effort in working On the car for Fud I decided Id by the car knowing it had a solid engine and good bits I can sell on which will be replaced with my own parts so after buying the car I drove it a total of 15mtrs only straight on to the ramp where it was fully stripped and the work commenced

The pan was 2 weeks turn around full strip down new gearbox/all unnecessary weight stripped and underneth cleaned and painted and my suspention/brakes/subframes/drivetrain/interior/fuel and rad system and wide arches fitted

This first session was completed in under two weeks and with 710bhp and 1240kg the car proved to be a giggle and give me a good buz but it was short lived knowing the gearbox needed a refresh and a much needed dbw conversion to get most out the box the next stage started the engine and box fully removed full wiring loom removed so tubes front end fabricated then turbo/sump/carcm tank/sump/inlet and front fuek system from original car all sold new goodies orderd precision 6466 turbo/killer b sump kit/process west inlet and fuel rails all brought and once engine was stripped and checked and re assembled with some changes added all items bolted on

When the gearbox arrived back from clark Motorsports as good as new it Was time to re fit everything in mb style where everything is easy to work on and neat I cannot stand a messy bay so a lot of time was taken in tidying and making it look as good as it can it yet still being functional to say im happy is a understatement

Car is awaiting a new can expander to be wired and mapping this week the goal is 1150kg and 800bhp+ for this stage hope you enjoy and sorry for rubbish pictures they was never intended for a build thread:brickwall
