And that moron flattened today when he walked out in front of the break... :freak3:

Paben 10 July 2016 06:40 PM

You don't see much of this during F1 races!

dpb 10 July 2016 07:25 PM

Woah , just seen spectator fall backwards :(

Paben 14 July 2016 06:31 PM

So it's been renamed the Tour de Farce now, and the idiot crowd surely can't be tolerated for much longer. Ok, Froome's been re-instated in the yellow jersey but what if he'd broken an arm or leg? The Tour organisers have to sort this out and soon.

dpb 14 July 2016 08:51 PM

just watching it , I thought half way up mountain the crowds look silly - not large but all over the place

Nairo looked beat though , whats that all about

dpb 14 July 2016 09:10 PM

bigger longer barriers i suppose , either that or tazers for the motorcycle guys :lol1:

SJ_Skyline 14 July 2016 09:14 PM

Triathlon de France? ;)

The problem is they've been up the mountain all day and half of them are p!ssed out of their heads, so knocking off a rider or two is no big deal to them.

dpb 15 July 2016 07:30 PM

Maybe all they need is two motorbikes either side of road at the front each major groupetto

Or fit all bikes with Boudicca spikes on the hubs when it's a mountain stage! 🤔

dpb 15 July 2016 10:27 PM

Yes mate, this Sunday. I'll be happy with under 3h15m, if I'm under 3h00m I'll be ecstatic! :)

dpb 16 July 2016 06:34 PM

I just been reading up about how people can possible go twice as fast as us normal folk in the water - after watching a bloke powering past in the pool length after length

Learnt a new phrase that encompasses the rest of us employing , 'The Riviera crawl’

:lol1:

dpb 16 July 2016 07:59 PM

Good luck Sj .:thumb:

I'm much too fat , hoping to swop some it for muscle in time for Hever again .

I reckon I would be somewhere near 3:05 - 3:10 on Eton course

SJ_Skyline 17 July 2016 02:22 PM

2h48m...

Everything hurts and I'm dying.

32m swim, 1h22m bike, 50m run. The rest of the time was transition/ rounding. I'm off for a beer now!

dpb 17 July 2016 02:25 PM

Id certainly be happy with that time :)

dpb 17 July 2016 07:34 PM

No real competition for Froome this tour it seems :(

Unless a motorbike/car gets him or the crowd knock him off he should be home dry. Amazing to see two out of leading three are Brits, and Cavendish took a 4th sprint, incredible.

dpb 17 July 2016 08:03 PM

iv noticed before several L200 drivers think theyre driving a sports car :(

Boardman mothers death

Very sad for Chris Boardman and a dreadful irony that she was killed on a bike. :(

dpb 18 July 2016 11:10 AM

Your transitions were amazing SJ , 2 minutes each !!

takes me 3 just to remove wetsuit .

Or maybe you wernt wearing one ?

SJ_Skyline 18 July 2016 12:47 PM

Thanks mate!

Official times were:
Swim : 32:48
T1 : 2:54 (yes, I was trying to get out of a wetsuit!)
Bike : 1:21:36
T2 : 1:01
Run : 50:00

Back on topic I'm really not impressed with Movistar this tour, Quintana needs to take the fight to Sky. I can see Valverde replacing him as #1 if he keeps this up.

It could be that having had his best efforts quashed by Froome in the past Quintana is mentally beaten. Alps to come though, where it might all change.

Does that not tell you something though?
I know nothing about the guy admittedly, but have they learned lessons from the Armstrong show?

So would you attach this ticket to whoever won? Seems any easy, cheap and unfair shot to take at Froome without any proof whatsoever, particularly as you admit to knowing nothing about him.
