My mk4 xr3i had racing cams and would make rs turbos look silly. This is the truth. I do miss the thursday and sunday merryhill days

Must have been some job to get "cams" in a single cam cvh, your never going to go from 90bhp to 130+ with a cam or even serious head work lol i used to rebuild my old rs turbo regularly found even back then the xr3i was boring lol rs turbos were great cars but at nearly 250bhp squeezed out of mine back then they were quick for there time :)

My XR3 had a 4 speed gear box out of a poverty spec 1.3L!!!! ...and it was quicker than my 174bhp RS Turbo, which I owned at the same time.
