MY99 JDM STI - Whole car Spares or repair

Hi,

Sadly my 99 JDM WRX STI has a broken engine, very low compression on cylinder 2. I've been quoted £1800 to fix it, and worse 3 months wait. Unfortunately the car is starting to suffer from the dreaded rear wheel arch rust and that combined with the wait and my finances (divorce pending) means I have to say goodbye.

I've owned the car since 2000, it was originally imported new by Litchfield and I bought it from Park Lane with 7K on the clock. Just thought I'd mention it for you old timers.

Anyway, it is completely original, no mods whatsoever, even has the original cd/radio. It's never been tracked or driven (very) hard. I've serviced it every year scoobysport and later extreme scoobies (I'm in Chelmsford, Essex). It has been somewhat abused inside, in that I'm a smoker and I've had my dogs in the rear seat on occasion, but it cleans up pretty well.

Problems that I am aware of (see photos):
- Cylinder 2 fecked.
- Rear wheel arch rust, both sides, one worse than the other.
- Blowing exhaust.
- Couple of very small dents to the driver side doors from car parks.
- Hole in the drivers side seat from wear.
- Some weird stress type fractures on the rear spoiler, although they've never got any worse, suspect someone may have monkeyed with it.

Rest of the bodywork seems pretty good.

MOT ran out in March, and I've just sorned it and cancelled the tax. It does still drive, but obviously at your own risk.

Open to any sensible offers, buyer collects (Chelmsford, Essex).

P.S - apologies if this is a duplicate, my last post seemed to disappear.
