Advice on lowering springs for a sport

This is my first post so I hope I'm doing everything right haha. Basically I want to lower my 2004 blobeye Impreza GX sport. I was considering coilovers but with the price of a decent set and the underperformance of my car I've decided lowering springs is the best option for me. I've been told to use 50mm tein lowering springs but I keep hearing different opinions so I'm looking for some real advice. I've had the rear arches rolled ready and I'm also running 18" wheels, I want to get rid of the horrible arch gap and want a nice low look yet I don't want to be scraping on anything haha. Cheers guys! (The picture of the wrx with white wheels is how I'd like mine to sit and apparently that's running 50mm tein lowering springs all around).

Hi mate, ive got Tein springs on my blobeye, used to run 18" wheels, never had any issues with scraping.

Not the best photos but they are all I have with the 18's fitted.

Looked like this
