JDM Legacy WR LTD Spec B GT
8 Attachment(s)
This is the second WR Ltd to grace the drive.
2.0 l TD04 HLA 19T twinscroll turbo. 280 bhp as standard. Dual AVCS. It comes with an aluminium alloy block with 92.0 mm bores – with cast iron cylinder liners – and a 75.0 mm stroke for a capacity of 498.6cc per cylinder, with thicker cylinder walls than EJ25. Bilstein shocks. Defi style sweep clocks. Subaru WR Ltd Mats 18's 225/40/18 Potenza's. Standard 316 mm front discs. McIntosh Headunit and subwoofer with 10 speakers. Subaru illuminated kick plate. Electric drivers set. Reclining rear seats. Plus loads of other standard JDM goodies with some expensive STI bits fitted as well. The car is stupidly clean throughout with 70000 miles on the clock. The cambelt was done at 54000 miles but the car does have a full JDM history and a JEVIC certificate. Prodrift UK, Charlie, are an excellent outfit. The JDM sat nav as already been swapped out and an Alpine head unit goes in soon. The only thing on the horizon is a remap and the Godspeed 335 mm upgrade brake kit. |

Lovely car, another Subaru I'd like to own! How does it drive compared to an Impreza STi?
|

Looks great Ian :)
I must admit the front end of these later legacys is by far my favourite of any Subaru, would love to see someone convert an impreza to have it. |
That's very nice. What sort of prices do they go for?

But if you want to go all the way get an "S" model. The Legacy Blitzen of December 2004 is the special edition based on the 2.0GT B4 and Touring Wagon. These high-performance sports models came with special colour bright red, sports suspension, 18-inch alloys, unique grille, and aero-style bumpers. Based on the Legacy 2.0GT spec.B B4 and Touring Wagon, the WR-Limited 2004 was released in July 2004, and the 2.0GT-based WR-Limited 2005 was launched in August 2005. The WR-Limited models were painted in WR Blue Mica, and came with Gold alloy wheels, front under spoiler, special blue and black seats, and special emblems. Also added to the Japanese line-up in August 2005 was the Legacy 2.0GT spec.B tuned by STI. This sports model has Bilstein suspension, 6-speed manual, STI genome exhaust, Brembo brakes (4-piston front, 2-piston rear) and 18-inch alloy wheels by STI. The Legacy STI S402 is a limited edition (402 units) high-performance series for the Japanese market. It includes a 2.5L twin scroll turbo engine rated 285 PS (210 kW; 281 hp) at 5600 rpm and 392 N·m (289 lb·ft) at 2000–4800 rpm, Bilstein shocks, 18x8-inch BBS forged wheels (from S203, S204) with Potenza RE050A 235/40R18 91W tyres, Brembo 6-piston front and 2-piston rear brake calipers (from Subaru Impreza type RA-R), Vehicle Dynamic Control stability control. A special serial number plate is added to the center console and engine bay VIN plate. Variable valve timing was added. ECU was updated to improve acceleration. |
Really nice motor. I do like those fast legacy models, they are a quality sleeper. One will definitely be on the list for my next car...
|
Congrats mate, looks really clean, especially the interior. Seats look comfy too!
|
Like that a lot, seats look great.

Having seen this car in the flesh so to speak, pictures don’t do it justice
This car is absolutely immaculate inside and out |

Imported from £6500 to plus of £10k for newer models. The 6 speed Si Drive BP/BL are the ones to go for and if you can get it the "Tuned by STi" models are epic and very rare.

Did you fit the aftermarket front grill as it looks the same as the one I put on my Tuned by STi, was a bugger to find one ! |
Didn't even know that S402 existed,
Want one now haha |

The car came up a treat today.
Also got the aftermarket head unit fitted (even matched the colours) and retained the McIntosh Amp. A bit of a bugger to get wired in but 10 speakers and a sub woofer are worth keeping. |

Mog, The grill came already fitted and does look bloody good. They are not cheap and I have not seen many fitted to the lesser models. |

The new head unit is installed and matches the clocks. By making up a new harness you retain the 10 speakers, McIntosh subwoofer and amp. |
Possibly a stupid question but what was wrong with the mcintosh unit? I know a Little about car audio and know mcintosh is very highly rated. Car looks ace, might get rid of the shogun for something like this as would be perfect for what I'd need.
