Is it just me, or are BMW colour choices very limited, and not very good?
Lovely car by the way. |

Been told all the mk2 M2s will have the newer engine; the x40i variants are too easy to map above the current M2 lump apparently... Bimmer insider.

Lovely car by the way. Only a choice of 4 colours for the M2. Mineral Grey, Long Beach Blue, Alpine White or Black. Not a great selection really |

Is there any rumour of being able to pick colours from the Individual range in the future??? There are some lovely colour options available on the M3/M4/M5 and my personal opinion I think the M2 is probably one of the best looking M cars available to buy at the moment, so its a shame there isnt more colour options!!!
Depends on weather BMW decide to increase production numbers which seems unlikely. Be nice to see one in Yas Marina Blue :luvlove: |

Been a rumour for quite a while. Not sure BMW would do that as It'd make the M2 faster than the M3 or M4

Been told current power levels are to stay the same, they are just acknowledging many people will map their cars hence the use of thw more robust lump.

Makes sense, the N55 seems to max out around 420 Bhp, mind you after taking it out yesterday in the wet and cold with 370 that was plenty for me
yeah RWD is a very different proposition to even a DCCD classic...at least you have traction control, ESP and all that jazz  |
FYI Leeds Stratstone has 2 coming in next week, and as of yet no buyers, it seems to have calmed down a little, however don't expect discounts :P
Stunning cars. Had some pretty good deals down there today, and sat in the new 5 series, and i,ll be honest if i had been blindfolded and it was unveiled in front of me, i would have sworn it was a 7 it was massive.... |
Is the M2 a 4 or 5 seater?

Less than a month and I'm moving it on.....
Things I love ... the look the stance, the noise, it's a real drivers car, seat of your pants stuff. Especially on a damp road. However I miss the hot hatch feel the lightness and zippy feel. It's a real attention seeker, it gets looks wherever it goes or parked. My journey to work is 7 miles and the m2 is complete over kill. |
Mines also unfortunately gone.
A change of circumstances and the wife leaving me and wanting a divorce means it had to go. Loved it but never really got to stretch its legs properly. As above it got huge attention wherever it went. Even caught two different people taking pictures of it when parked up. |

I'd rather give her one through her right eye!
M2 looks nice ,a little small, split with her and take new saloon rs3 |
Just been looking at one of these in BODSKI's colour, sold though, ordered LAST MARCH!
Salesman says they are selling at more than list price because of rarity. If I were to order today, I MIGHT get one next year this time, so long as I was willing to pay full price plus 5% Bit daft if you ask me. Nice, but not that good. |

Nice, but not that good. http://www.appreciating-classics.com/car/bmw-m2/ Some dealerships get allocated extra slots depending on turnover and meeting certain targets. Colchester BMW dicked me about for 8 months so I cancelled with them and got a tip off that Vines had an extra allocation, I only waited 6 weeks for it. |
