Found it...
Hi there
It is indeed behind the steering column And a right pain in the bum to get to. I had to remove bottom plastic below steering column And the dash dials The box is secured to the car with 2 12mm nuts... you have to undo these to access the 7mm nuts holding the box shut Then its an easy swap plug n go. So.. it took me a week to locate the box.. An hour or 2 to get it out One minute to switch keyboard plugs And an hour to put it all back together And bobs my uncle it works Next question... Can i remove entirely this pain in the neck system? What needs to be done? I have already snipped the siren wires so its useless anyway Thanks |
What... for example... if i just unplugged the ecu entirely... would that be locked on... or off?
