Not bad considering we only just got it out of the bodyshop the night before covered in dust!

Since those were taken, I've had the offending blue master cylinder stopper brace powder-coated black.

Thank you mate for that comment, its made it all worth while.

Ive had the inlet refurbished and lots of nuts and bolts re-plated. :)
The engine bay was quite ruff looking last year when i imported it from Japan, so much better now.

I got a local company to plate them, i take everything to work and clean it up then send it off to be plated.

Most of the bits only cost me £20 or so and that's for a bag full.

My dump valve is fitted on the underside of the intercooler so the old position has to be blanked off. :)

My rad brackets and battery clamp need some work as they're looking a bit corroded and tired. That aside...I don't think it's too bad.

Definitely DIFFRENT I'd get the battery clamp and oil cap done yellow and carbon dip the blue bits that clash with the yellow badly IMO... good effort though:thumb:

Carbon dip has been done before. There aren't many blue/yellow engine bays about.
As for the blue and yellow i got the idea from the early Subaru rally cars.
I might change it when the 2.5 gets fitted.

I just used silver paint on everything other than the actuall core. Gave the core a light dusting just to take the bad look off the tarnished fins.
