Fitting new headlights
These have just arrived :luxhello:
Fitting them to a 2003 Impreza WRX saloon. https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.sco...5e9035880.jpeg I'm pretty sure there'll be tears trying to fit them though! Any advice to make the pain easier please??? |
stick to standard lights?
|
Would have been preferred cheaper option, however broken headlight dictates otherwise!

Be interesting to see how these turn out for you, not my cup of tea personally but all I've heard from people who have these is bad reviews.
|
Like what?
Don't know anyone personally that has them, so not heard anything bad yet. Saw a few at Japfest with them fitted. Appreciate everyone has different tastes, would be very boring if we didn't. Any headlight replacement though looks like it might be tricky....usually take the skin off my knuckles when I replace the bulbs :( |
Actually a piece of piss to take lights out of a blobeye
|
I've just heard that the led sections last only a few months and they are poor quality. To be honest, they might be cheap ebay versions.
|
I've also heard scare stories, ranging from poor light beam patterns to meltdown caused by poor wiring in the lights. Are they even E-Marked?
Best of luck. |
Removing the headlamps is easy, sorry but not keen on the look of the replacements although I understand why you bought them. Couldn't you source a secondhand pair?
|
I had a set a while ago on my previous scoob. I didn't like the bling nature of them so I opened them up and made them all black. Useful to use with HID's. I didn't even bother with the halos - bit too chavvy for me.
