SC46 or MD321T

WR1 WOZA 02 May 2016 06:11 PM

is there much difference between them ?

Couldn't tell you. Not had a 321T. I have a '46 and happy with that. Also had a 321V and happy with that too, but it's a bigger turbo.

sc42 might be better option for a 2.1.

Depends if you wanna go balls out or not, if it were me I would only go rotated from now on, the turbos mentioned above are more than capable of the numbers but I just don't see them performing the same way as a rotated gtx28r or gtx3071r will. This is just my opinion and others feel that there is no evidence to support it but until youve experienced both you won't know for sure, but if you're budget will allow I would deffo be going rotated

what sort of extra cost would be involved in going rotated and fittings required !

Around 1500 for RCM rotated kit, tial wastegate and miscellaneous bits and bobs but the turbo will be considerably cheaper to buy for a t3 than a Subaru fitment so it's not as expensive as it seems.
