Absolute vermin scum simple as that , if and when caught just a simple bullet to the head should suffice

Terrible news! Scumbags!!!
I had my RA stolen last year in Leeds(Yeadon),same method, broke in while we were asleep and took 2 cars! Possibly the same gang?
My car was spotted in horsforth and chased by the police the night after(couldn't catch it)
It was then seen in bramley LS13 a few nights after parked up on the henleys(henley drive)

I think they leave them parked up to see if they have a tracker before putting them in a garage to strip down?
Might be worth a drive around these areas?
Which part of Leeds was it stolen from? Might be worth putting it up on social media as well as this is can help.
Hope it turns up,mine never did :(

Scummy cnuts, will keep an eye out, does it not have a Tracker?

silver sonic 02 May 2016 06:08 PM

thanks! tracker on but not sure if active! plates are off it now so anyone sees a WR1 post up as may be on false plates now.

4evascoob 02 May 2016 07:02 PM

Always a worry if they break inn and steal keys ! That's why my keys are 2ft from a 9st German Shepard who has no sense of humour !

johned 02 May 2016 07:04 PM

Have you posted on the WR1 owners club site.

Yellow R 02 May 2016 07:17 PM

I'm not sure if its a fact but I was once told each panel on a WR1 has its registration plate stamped on it, So if they try flogging parts might be worth checking, but the colour will be a give away in itself, Hope you get it back in one piece.

They more than likely won't sell the parts in uk, it will either be stripped and parts collected and taken abroad or the full car will be put in a container and sent abroad, usually a truck will come over full of tyres and go back full of parts. It will deffo be parked up somewhere for at least a couple of days before anyone touches it, More than likely in a nice housing estate somewhere

that old horrible stolen recovered wri thats rebuilt with wrx bits was up for sale recently or in same ad was asking if anyone had wri parts to put car back to spec - might be worth asking him if hes been offered the long list of parts he was looking for

If it has a Tracker fitted you can pay the subscription to activate it even after theft has taken place ?
