Orangestuff pads
What's your thoughts on these pads Scoobynet?

I had the original ones and they are excellent. Awesome hot or cold. I don't know if the recipie has changed in 3 years ?

I've been running them in my AP's for about 5 months now and really like them. Given it's been winter I've not had them as hot as on some of the summer runs but they do seem to have good feel, good (for a performance pad) cold performance and they're cheap. They don't seem heavy on the discs either (compared to the Mintex M1166's I had in there before), although they are pretty black on your wheels if you're bothered by that sort of thing. I'd say they're a significant step up from the Blue/Yellowstuff's for sure and more than a match for M1155/66 & DS2500's with the added benefit of being significantly cheaper.

glad to see a positive comment about the orange stuff pads. ive just put a set in my bug sti for its m.o.t but they seem to get a bad rep from a lot of people. will see how they go when bedded in.

On a road-going classic, really good.
Not, technically, road legal though |
Got a set in my K-Sports,
Would only say that they squeal a bit |

Not, technically, road legal though I fitted Orangestuff pads to the GTR I had a couple of years ago , over 600hp , and I used to use every one of them lol , I found them very good once bedded in , certainly not the best pads out there , but still a good performing pad with very hard road use |
some good info there lads. good to hear a review from you ian and if they can stop 600 bhp thats good enough for me. whats the word on mixing up different compounds ian? i had a brand new set of red stuff rears as well and was tempted to chuck them in the rear with the orange up front. or would that totally stuff up the brake balance between front and rear or make the bias out of kilter?
