Well, the weeks are flying by and I know a fair few of you are eager and chomping at the bit to get your name's down for May’s meet, so now is your chance.

** As always-A massive thank you to Rob for the lovely flyer as well as a huge thank you to all who have contributed to the ever expanding picture thread.
This month is brought to you by a rather snazzy silver beasty courtesy of the host himself. Kudos to Paul, she’s looking stunning as ever ;)
Keep your eyes peeled to see who will feature in July’s offering, it could be yoooooou :norty:**

As you will know from Paul’s thread, there is talk of swinging by the ol’ Graffiti wall in Chelmsford after the pub for a mini photo-shoot which will add a little something extra to the afternoon.
Here’s hoping for some nice weather so we can really utilise the location and get some interesting pictures of member’s cars to add to the archives.
If more than anything, it gives us all a great excuse to get the detailing products out and go mental on Saturday morning- I expect lots of dazzling and gleaming examples *cough cough DAN cough cough*

Some people were a little thrown by the timings of the last meet- I would just like to re-affirm that this was a one off to coincide with the Easter break and with this month and the others pending (excluding Christmas) we are back to the old pattern of the last Saturday of the month. *dates can be found in the STICKY at the top of the main ESOC homepage*

Hopefully the weather will be a little warmer and brighter by May and not like it is today  but please remember we have plenty of room and warmth in the pub should the weather turn poor and food and warm drinks are always available for anyone who is hungry.
And of course if the weather is good we have plenty of room in the gardens!

I know there have been a few new faces cropping up so far this year, along with a resurface of a few familiar names; so newbies and vets, come and make yourself known!

Don't forget that that those wishing to purchase our rather snazzy club decals can do so on the day, just come and see me. :D

There is also the opportunity to discuss any upcoming events or shows that anyone is interested in attending with the club. Also please feel free to suggest any shows or events for us all to attend as a club that you may have in mind- you can do this here, at the pub or in the ****BRAINSTORMING**** thread.
(I’m still eager to organise some form of curry night. It would be nice to get peoples thoughts where they would like to go as we ideally want somewhere fairly ‘neutral’ with regards to travelling distance.)

The family owned pub offers fresh home prepared food hot & cold (food is served from 12 - 2pm) as well as a nice children friendly area for all the mini ESOC members.

13:00pm Saturday 28th May

The Rodney Inn
North Hill
Little Baddow
Chelmsford
Cm3 4tq.

Now the boring part. Please don't act in any form of stupidity i.e testing your exhaust loudness, donuts, burnouts etc. Anyone caught or been reported to acting in this manner will be dealt with in certain ways which can lead to being asked to leave the venue. SN accepts no responsibility for anyone's driving style.

Right now that's done let’s get some names down.

Can I just remind everyone about the MSOC VS ESOC golf day which is on the Sunday after this event. If interested please check out the MSOC page and put your name down. It will be great to see as many of you as possible in the hope to make this an annual event.

I may come to this as well if I'm not busy. Sorry to hijack the post a little Frizzle-Dee.

Yes :thumb:

I'm in Waltham Abbey, have I seen you about? What car do you have?
Mine's the black WRX. Got my name on the side, lol

durrant88 24 May 2016 01:29 PM

Mines just a silver sport unfortunately lol yeah I always see you parked at tesco. And I think your daughter goes out with my mate John.
Love the noise yours make

Lillyart14 24 May 2016 03:28 PM

Should be there on Saturday with the girlfriend who wants too see 'all the other shouty cars'.... Bless...

Also picked up some GoPro's and will be running them throughout the day so if we do have a little drive to this graffiti wall, stay close to me and you may get on video!

LoganS 24 May 2016 03:55 PM

I may be there, we had the twins at 35 weeks on the 14th may, finally got Leah and the boys home on Saturday and it's hard work at feeding time.

I started making my fog light surrounds in to brake ducts after still getting brakes too hot at silverstone / japfest, so they are off the car at the moment. my car is currently looking rough to say the least.

Anyway say hello to Toby and Dylan

Ha yes indeed she does , small world :)

Will look out for you, I do like to be the quiet retiring type when out in my car, lol

durrant88 25 May 2016 08:29 AM

Out of interest Lorraine where do you have your scooby services as mines due but don't want a cowboy who do t know about the cars?

Rab555 25 May 2016 09:22 PM

Looking forward to Saturday, been a while! Can't guarantee the car will be clean though, hopefully won't show up too badly if we head to the wall.
