Boost control jdm twin scroll

My jdm is open source mapped with the boost control on the vf37 still stock 2 port. I have a bit of surge in 6th and notice it doesn't hold the boost for as long as I would like (I know twin scrolls do tail off) could the control be improved by fitting a 3 port, also which Max's out first the vf37 or the 565/550 injectors ?????

Yeah fit a 3 port and the turbo will be maxed out before the injectors, standard air box or induction,

I currently run a k&n typhoon induction which will be do with the surge but since it's been mapped it's massively reduced it. I feel the boost control could be improved further with a 3 port ?

Same her I've got a custom intake with RCM induction and get a bit small bit of surging in 6th...small turbos/VF's don't like them :lol1:

Yeh agree my old bug vf35 was the same. There's so much to do to go up a level though with twin scroll sc42 or lm400/420 ect then there's injectors and poss fmic ect ect .my vf37 made good figures IMO so For now I think I'm gonna get a map tweek to run 3 port boost control maybe add a little off throttle fueling at the same time lol .

you can also try flipping the T piece in the boost lines to get a little more result from the stock 2port. Won't be as good as a 3port but will add a little more boost in if your stuck.

Interesting!!
Do you mean rotating the t so the straight would be compressor to sensor or sensor to actuator? Rather than compressor to actuator?

yeh rotate the T so pressure goes straight to the boost solenoid rather than straight to the wastegate, just keep an eye on the boost as it needs the whole wastegate tables setup again after.
