Sports cat or decat?

Im about to replace my hayward and scott cat back with a nurspec r. Now my question is I already have a sports cat so if I replace this with a decat pipe am I going to achieve anything?

The gains are minimal no?

I think you will need a remap or update if the car has been remapped before after fitting a decat. Not sure what gains you will get over the sports cat but without a remap I think you could overboost. Hopefully someone with more mapping knowledge will post.

I think the car has been mapped but without somebody in the know looking into I don't quite know. I'm looking at the japspeed decat in the group buy. Anyone have this one? Or any others recommended?

Anyone help me on this matter?

If you're ok with the mot tester then full decat with the blitz defo to get that epic noise but would need a remap defo IMO
Or Keep the sports cat on if you don't want a remap and your mot tester ain't that friendly I bet it'll still be loud though:thumb:
IMO Blitz is the best one to put on for that scooby sound defo on my to get list let us know what you decide in the end pal;)

I want the full decat experience tbh! If you got a car like this it goes hand in hand.

I just need somebody to confirm that the japspeed one will fit?

Can anyone recommend a decat pipe to pair up with my nurspec r system?

from what i can remember, the nur spec goes down to the standard size ish where it joins onto the down pipe.

I use to have a 3 inch bell mouth down pipe and it fitted ok
