Modifying oil pump
 

is this just a case of deburring the area around where the relief valve plunged up and down to reduce the chance (if any) of the relief valve sticking or does work need to be done to the relief valve to?

It seems stupid to not do it now on a brand new standard pump before i fit it to the engine if its a simple mod to do
