car cuts out wont restart

im in need on some help

my car cut out while driving and wont restart its turns over and tries to start but wont catch.

car has been mapped and has a forged engine

i have replaced the fuel pump, crank sensor and have taken the immobilizer out

when the car cut out it didnt splutter the revs just dropped to zero and died

car was recently mapped before this happened but was for for a few days after the mapping

it appears that its getting no spark i have replaced plugs and checked all fuses and the all are ok i have good fuel pressure and fuel is getting into the cylinder as can smell it from the exhuast after trying to start

i am looking for pointers to what is causing it

im am potentially thinking ecu but could be wrong

car has the following mods:
vf43 turbo
decat from turbo
tgv deletes
air pump delete
sti top mount
6 speed box with stage 2 clutch and flywheel
2.5l forged engine

if the car is left for say a few days without trying to start it it will start but will cut out again and will refuse to start

faulty cam sensor can also stop it running, the start and cut out sounds more like a fuel problem then a spark issue though.

try crank sensor thats where the ecu picks up the signal for fireing the sparkplugs

sounds very similar to when i had a faulty crank sensor, although i see you have already replaced that.

crank sensor has been replaced fuel pump prime when you turn the key its definately spark related but cant figure out why and befor you ask it was a brand new crank sensor that was used and not a second hand one

the sigma alarm/immobilizer has been completely taken out all thats left is the transponder in the key which does talk to the ecu
