Lets just hope its not hype.

Still mightily narked as Sony for the abysmal failure of games sharing!

On a wired fibre connection, 35mb and is says too slow to allow shareplay

utter bull.

Playing on a 5" phone screen though while fun was a tad imrpactible

Mart :D

Its a good idea but can already remote play a ps4 to a tv anywhere with net access but resolution is not very good, same thing with mac and pc still need to own a ps4 so pointless as better on the 55" tv direct with hdmi :)

How does this change gaming exactly? Or am I missing the point?

it doesnt, its just a way for crapple to partly catch up

dpb 06 April 2016 10:22 PM

it does play catch up quite well tbh

JackClark 06 April 2016 10:50 PM

It's got nothing to do with Apple apart from running on a Mac.

I do love my mac but its never going to be a gaming laptop, dont even see why folk would use any laptop for games even though im very sure it has the power to do so.

I'm no gamer but I do know games are limited on Mac's and not Playstations.

That's a bit poor. Same for PC?

Littleted 07 April 2016 09:03 PM

Just tried it apart from crap res on the retina 5k it's fine no lag have to have controller perm usb connected but it's fine....

Wonder if you can connect from away from home that would be cool in a hotel

ScoobyDoo555 08 April 2016 08:52 AM

Like Jay, I only use mine for Music. But in all fairness, I've got a mahoosive gaming PC that is only used for games. (no surfing or other sh1te that wrecks PCs) It's a glorified hi-res Xbox 1 :D

ie, 2 machines for specific jobs. both do those jobs very well.

Yip thats what i said in my first post so even on a 5k monitor your still only getting 720p, its pathetic and stuttery and you have to have your ps4 switched on and play the game thats currntly in it all its doing is sending from the ps4 so its a gimik at best.

BlkKnight 08 April 2016 09:42 AM

Steam do a similar thing, but at least it's pretty decent.

for 720p, most basic PC's (with an £80 gxf card) can game at this level anyway without the need to stream via the PS4
