Impreza STI Genome Defi Boost Gauge Help

Hi there guys, got a quick one here

I recently fitted a STI Genome Boost gauge to my 2006 wrx
Its all wired up correctly as I did my research online first.

It was working fine when first installed but after a 200mile drive to scotland the gauge stopped reading just as I turned my car on to come home.

It all still lights up fine and dims with the light cluster but it doesnt do the setup sweep at the start and it doesnt give any readings and the needle doesnt move at all..

Has anyone had this problem before?

Also if anyone has a manual for the STI genome gauge please let me know

Thanks Matty

Check the fuses....

Loose connections etc

Manual is the same as the defi gauges

Loose connection or plug somewhere. Or wire is broken.

I have exact problem, never could get to the bottom of it. Mine lights up- which suggests there is power to the gauge, however doesn't sweep or move.

The defi bf boost gauge will light up and sweep if it has power and unplugged from sensor, so assuming they work the same id guess its between the gauge and controller, either one of the cables or the unit itself

Thanks for the help guys, funnily enough the day after I made this post the gauge started to work again then stoped the day after, which instantly made me check the connections.

Originally I used splice connectors to tap into the main loom but these didnt make a good connection so I have now soldered the cables in permanently and I have had no issues since.

I suggest anyone else who has intermittent problems with there Defi should check there connections first.

Now all i need is showing how to setup the warning and bleeps as I cannot find a manual online
